# Data retention

> How long CallPrep stores enriched data and how GDPR applies.

## Prospect and company data

Enriched prospect and company data is **stored indefinitely** — we do not automatically
delete it. Data is refreshed (overwritten) when a new research request is submitted
after the refresh window has elapsed.

| Company data    | 90 days        | Previous record overwritten with new data |
| Decision makers | 60 days        | Previous record overwritten with new data |

Within the refresh window, repeated research requests return the existing enriched data
immediately — no new enrichment is run.

  If a prospect or company contacts you with a data deletion request under GDPR,
  contact us at [hello@callprep.app](mailto:hello@callprep.app) and we will
  permanently delete all data associated with that person or company from our
  systems.

## Research logs

Pipeline execution logs (costs per step, duration, statuses) are retained for **12 months**.

## Error logs

Error logs are retained for **6 months**.

## GDPR

CallPrep processes personal data (prospect names, email addresses, LinkedIn profiles)
on your behalf as a **data processor**. You — as the company using the API — are
the **data controller** and are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis
for processing prospect data.

Key points:

* Data is stored in the EU (Supabase EU West region)
* Prospect and company data is scoped to your account — other users never access your data
* We do not sell or share enriched data with third parties
* Deletion requests from prospects should be forwarded to [hello@callprep.app](mailto:hello@callprep.app)
* Account deletion removes all associated enriched data within 30 days of your request
